Female smuggler arrested with 100 grams of heroin in Delhi…

The Anti Narcotics Cell of delhi Outer North district has further strengthened its campaign against drugs and arrested another female drug smuggler. Who has been identified as Manju alias Manjuura Bibi (26). The woman is a resident of Jahangirpuri area of the national capital. 100 grams of heroin has been recovered from the female smuggler. The woman has been arrested on the information of another accused Anju alias Gauri Bhabhi (34) who is already on police remand.

According to the information received from Outer North district DCP nidhi Valson, on january 1, 2025, in a case registered under the NDPS Act in the NIA police station, the police arrested a drug supplier Sheikh Shahnawaz alias Sohail (23), a resident of Jahangirpuri. The police recovered 402 grams of heroin from his possession.

This is how the drug network was exposed

After this, during interrogation, Shahnawaz revealed that the recovered heroin was given to him by Anju alias Gauri Bhabhi. After which the police arrested Anju alias Gauri Bhabhi on 31 january 2025 on the basis of secret information and also recovered 96 grams of heroin from her. During the investigation, Gauri Bhabhi admitted that she used to take the consignment of heroin from Manju alias Manjura Bibi.

Police engaged in investigation

After this, on the basis of her disclosure, the police also caught Manju on 12 february 2025. At the same time, 100 grams of heroin was also recovered from her. The police have arrested the accused woman under the section of NDPS Act in this case. At the same time, now the police is engaged in further investigation and trying to arrest other members of the gang by exploring this entire drug network and its supply chain.
