Badalpur police has caught a gang that used to extort money from people by trapping them through honey trap. This gang consisted of two boys and a girl. After arresting them, the police also recovered 40 thousand rupees from them. According to the police, this gang trapped a person in Sadpur village. The girl called the landlord to her room and then the rest of the gang members threatened to implicate him in a false rape case and demanded 2.5 lakh rupees from him. Due to fear, the victim agreed to pay 2.5 lakh rupees and also gave 40 thousand rupees to them. When the police received a complaint about this incident, the whole matter came to light during investigation.
What did the police say in the case?
According to the police, this gang first used to find a rented house in some area and shift the girl there. Then the girl used to call the landlord to her room on some pretext. After a while, the rest of the gang members would reach there and threaten him and say that if he did not give them money, they would file a rape case against him. Out of fear, people would compromise with them and give them money.
The police have arrested Badal Dedha alias Kalu Singh in this case, who is the main member of the gang. Many cases have been registered against him earlier too. The police have arrested his partner Prince, who is a BA student. Apart from this, a girl has also been arrested who used to make false allegations.

Investigation has revealed that this gang has already extorted Rs 5.5 lakh from a house owner in Ghaziabad's Ankur Vihar. 11 cases are already registered against the gang leader Badal and he keeps changing his name continuously. According to the police, this gang has cheated many people in Delhi-NCR in this way.
