
Rescue operations continue on the third day of Chamoli accident!
A major accident has occurred in Chamoli, uttarakhand due to the breaking of the glacier on Friday. Two days have passed since this accident, yet the rescue operation is going on. So far 3 bodies have been found in the rescue operation going on since sunday morning, after which only one person is missing. Who is being searched.
After the bodies of three new people were found in the Chamoli accident, the number of dead laborers has increased to 7 so far, while the search for a missing laborer is going on. On the spot, the soldiers of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Indo-Tibetan Border police (ITBP) are engaged in relief and rescue work. Earlier, the information given by the army said that the death toll in the avalanche accident in Mana area in Chamoli district of uttarakhand has increased. During the search operation of the army, one more body has been recovered from under the snow. The army is bringing the body to Mana post.
46 workers rescued
So far seven people have lost their lives in this accident, while one worker is still missing. Information in this regard was given by Lieutenant Colonel manish Srivastava, PRO (Defense) Dehradun. Lieutenant Colonel DS Maldheya said that so far a total of 46 workers have been rescued safely. Out of these, the condition of four workers was critical. A seriously injured laborer has been referred to AIIMS rishikesh for better treatment.
The rescue operation has been intensified on the third day as well. Teams of army, SDRF and ITBP are searching for the missing laborers with the help of sniffer dogs and helicopters. Relief work has gained momentum due to clear weather. On sunday, rescue operation has been started with sniffer dogs and helicopters to find the missing people.

In the same sequence, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the State Emergency Operations Center and reviewed the rescue operation. He directed the officials to restore electricity, communication and all other necessary facilities in the avalanche affected areas as soon as possible. Chamoli district Magistrate Dr sandeep Tiwari said that the relief operation is continuing and efforts are being made to evacuate the missing workers as soon as possible.
