

Nepali drug supply gang exposed, 5 smugglers arrested!
A Nepali drug supply gang spreading drug network in delhi has been exposed. The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the police took a major action and arrested five smugglers of this gang. About 4 kg of high quality hashish, an Alto car, 9 mobile phones, Rs 42,280 in cash and drug packaging material have been recovered from the possession of the smugglers. This gang, which has become a drug hub in Delhi-NCR, was trapping the youth by importing huge quantities of hashish from Nepal.
According to DCP ravi Kumar Singh, a special team of Anti-Narcotics Squad under the leadership of Inspector vishnu Dutt was constantly engaged in developing information about drug dealers to crack down on the drug trade. In this sequence, on 22 february 2025, Head Constable pradeep received concrete information that some people of Nepali origin are involved in the supply of hashish in amar Colony area. He said that acting immediately on this information, the police stopped an Alto car, in which two accused Sajit Thulung (24) and Raman Ratra (49) were present. During the search, 291 grams of high quality hashish and 2 mobile phones were recovered from them. On this basis, a case was registered under the NDPS Act at amar Colony police station.

Based on the interrogation of the arrested smugglers, the police started searching for the rest of their gang members. Based on technical surveillance and intelligence input, the police raided their hideout in Garhi village, from where two more Nepalese smugglers sunil Lama (26) and Shivraj Rai (22) were arrested. During this, 3.674 kg of hashish, Rs 20,280 in cash, 4 mobile phones and drug packaging material were recovered from them. Based on the information received from the arrested accused, the police launched a special operation to catch the main kingpin of the gang, Ram, and on 24 february 2025, raided his hideout in Srinivaspuri area and arrested him. 3 mobile phones and Rs 22,000 in cash were recovered from him.
