

Dispute over Rs 10 fare, rickshaw driver attacked with knife!
In Mumbai's Powai area, a minor altercation over just Rs 10 turned violent. In the dispute, a man attacked the rickshaw driver with a knife and injured him.
Rickshaw driver Shahnawaz Sheikh was attacked with a knife by Awdhesh Saroj after a dispute over Rs 10 fare. Shahnawaz drives a sharing rickshaw and charges Rs 30 per passenger. Accused Awdhesh Saroj, who was accompanied by his brother and three children, and the rickshaw driver said that he would pay Rs 90 as fare.
On this, accused Saroj objected to the total cost and refused to pay the full fare. He demanded a discount of Rs 10 and insisted on paying only Rs 80. Sheikh refused to take Rs 80 and a fierce fight broke out between the two over this matter.
Accused arrested
After this, Awadhesh Saroj attacked rickshaw driver Shahnawaz Shaikh with a knife, while his brother Pawan Saroj fled from the spot. After the incident, the rickshaw driver filed a case against two people in the nearby Powai police. Powai police arrested Awadhesh Saroj on sunday (March 2), two days after the incident, and one accused is still absconding, whom the police is searching for.
Shaikh suffered minor injuries
According to Powai police, this incident started with a small matter. Shaikh has suffered minor injuries and is undergoing treatment. police have registered a case of knife attack against Awadhesh and are conducting raids to catch the absconding accused. This incident has raised questions about the disputes over rent in the area.
