After being arrested in 2002, he came out of jail on bail in 2008. Since then he was not appearing in court. He was arrested by ATS unit and Moradabad police on 7 march 2025.
A reward of 25 thousand was announced on Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Ulfat Hussain alias Mohammad Saifullah. Terrorist Ulfat Hussain alias Mohammad Saifullah took terrorist training in pakistan Occupied kashmir (PoK) in 1999-2000. Then he came to Moradabad and was planning to carry out a major terrorist incident. Investigation revealed that Ulfat Hussain has been an active member of Hizbul Mujahideen. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-14 of Moradabad had issued a permanent warrant in 2015 and 2025.
Interrogation of the arrested terrorist is going on and security agencies are investigating whether he was associated with any new terrorist module or was preparing for a big conspiracy. He will be produced in the court soon and further action will be taken.
