Rs 42.15 lakh stolen from a warehouse, police registered FIR!

A case of theft of Rs 42.15 lakh cash from a warehouse office in thane district of maharashtra has come to light. police have registered a case against unknown people in this matter. An official gave this information on Sunday. He said that the incident took place on the intervening night of march 4 and 5 at a warehouse located in Kalher area of Bhiwandi.

An official of Narpoli police station said that the thieves broke the iron window grill to enter the warehouse office. After this, they allegedly broke a cupboard there and stole Rs 42.15 lakh kept in it, which was collected from 12 companies. He said that on the basis of a complaint, the police on friday registered a case against unknown criminals under sections 303 and 331 of the indian Penal Code.

A person was cheated of Rs 47 lakh                 

In thane district itself, cyber fraudsters allegedly cheated a person of more than Rs 47 lakh by luring him with high returns in exchange for investing money in shares. police gave this information on Saturday. A police officer said that on the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against three people under the Information technology (IT) Act on Thursday.

Greed of good returns

The officer said that this fraud was done between december last year and february this year, the matter is being investigated. According to the officer, the accused were connected in a group on whatsapp and worked through a share trading app. They contacted the said person and lured him to invest money in shares by luring him with good returns. The officer said that the victim paid Rs 47,01,652 in various bank accounts within the last three months. When he did not get any money after making the payment, he realized the fraud and contacted the police.
