Betting racket exposed, 11 arrested including gang leader!
Betting racket has been exposed in the country's capital Delhi. Interstate cell of Crime Branch raided and arrested 11 people. During the search, Rs 83,000 cash, notepad, betting slip and flex board were found from the accused. According to the police, the gang leader is 55-year-old ashok Gulati alias Kale. ashok Gulati along with his son was running illegal betting business from two different locations.
The DCP said that Head Constable Surendra had received information that ashok Gulati was running betting business in Govindpuri. After confirming the information, the Interstate Cell team planned to expose the racket. He said that raids were conducted at two locations in Govindpuri on the night of march 4. police arrested 11 people from the spot. gang leader ashok Gulati alias Kale was also caught along with his son Sanju. During the search, 83 thousand rupees, notepad, betting slip and flex board were recovered from the accused.

Inspector Satendra Mohan, Kamal Kumar, SI ashish Sharma, ASI Zafaruddin, Rakesh Kumar, Ratan Singh and other policemen were involved in the raid. Betting was being played in B Block Transit Camp and Lane Number 10. According to the police, ashok Gulati has studied till 6th class. He started betting after incurring losses in the grocery shop.

Gulati has been caught twice before in illegal business. 24-year-old Rohit Gulati has studied till 10th. The nephew was supporting uncle ashok Gulati in the betting business. 27-year-old Sanju also studied till 10th. The son was doing betting business along with father ashok Gulati. At present, the police has registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
