Every day from 6 pm to 10 pm till the liquor shops closed, the police of every police station was raiding such places where people used to drink alcohol in their vehicles. At some places, some hooligans were also seen drinking and eating alcohol on the bonnet or dickey of their car. police has registered a case against all of them under the relevant sections.
Crime reduced by 50 percent
police Commissioner ajay Kumar Mishra said that the police has taken this strict action to curb crime in the city, rural and Trans Hindon zone. The law and order situation and crimes like murder and other unintentional murders have reduced by 50 percent.
The police Commissioner said that this campaign against alcoholics will continue in the coming months as well.
