Near Shivpuri Dhala in Saharsa Sadar police station area, miscreants shot a bike rider, due to which he was badly injured. He is being treated in a private clinic in the city. At the same time, the police is investigating the matter. The injured youth has been identified as Mohammad Afsher Alam, 38-year-old son of Mohammad Shamsher, a resident of Hakpada Mohalla of Saharsa Municipal Corporation.
The miscreants were already lying in wait
The youth's elder brother Mohammad Shamsher told that he had gone to the market on a bike to buy Iftar items and was returning home. Meanwhile, miscreants who were already lying in wait near the north of Shivpuri Dhala shot him twice after seeing him coming. After this, with the help of local people, he was admitted to a private clinic in Saharsa.
After the incident, Dr. Vijay Shankar, who was treating him in a private clinic, said that the injured has been shot twice. One bullet hit the chest and the other in the stomach. The condition is serious and blood sample, CT scan and ultrasound are being done. After this, an attempt will be made to remove the bullet through surgery.
Firing incident due to mutual dispute
Meanwhile, Saharsa Sadar SDPO Alok Kumar said that first information has been received about firing in mutual dispute. The DIU team and other teams have started action after taking stock of the spot. The miscreants will be arrested soon.
