Accused arrested for cheating of Rs 1 crore in the name of job!

Delhi police arrested the accused who cheated Rs 1 crore in the name of job in railways. The accused has been identified as Ranjan Paswan. Ranjan Paswan used to cheat unemployed youths by deceiving them. police said that Ranjan Paswan's illegal activities continued even after being fired from the job. During the job of a driver in the government organization NAFED, the accused got greedy to collect money. He deceived the victims by misusing the government vehicle.

Unemployed youths used to get deceived on the talk of strong relations with railway officials. Ranjan Paswan used to commit fraud from the NAFED building located in Ashram. Ranjan Paswan was fired from his job by NAFED in 2021 due to his involvement in fraud. The accused also misused old relationships. After taking money, Ranjan Paswan used to give fake medical certificates, fake training sessions and fake joining letters to the victims.

Fraud in the name of job in railways

The police tracked the fraud through mobile surveillance system. Ranjan Paswan was declared a fugitive by the court on february 14. According to the police, the fraudster defrauded unemployed youth of about one crore in the name of government job. Ranjan Paswan is a resident of Mayur Vihar.

How did the police reach the fraudster's hideout?

The police said that Ranjan Paswan was escaping since the FIR was registered. Advanced technical surveillance techniques including mobile phone tracking and social media monitoring were used to reach the fraudster. After the hideout was identified, the police tracked the fraudster. Finally, the fraudster was caught from Tilak Bridge railway station. The police is gathering information about the gang that provides jobs in the railways by interrogating the fraudster.
