

Absconding prisoner caught in 12 hours, 3 constables suspended!
A prisoner had escaped from Chhapra Divisional Jail on sunday night (30 march 2025). The absconding prisoner Nitesh Kumar has now been arrested by the police. He has been arrested by the police within 12 hours. In this case, three constables have been held guilty and suspended by the jail administration.
On tuesday (01 april 2025), Chhapra SSP Dr. Kumar ashish and district Magistrate Aman sameer inspected the divisional jail. During the inspection, necessary instructions were given to all the concerned officials including the Building Division to maintain complete security of the outer premises and inside parts of the divisional jail. Chhapra Jail Superintendent Radheshyam suman said that strict action will be taken against those found guilty in this negligence. Three constables Nandkishore, Arun Kumar and dhananjay Rai have been suspended. Further action is being taken.
How was the absconding prisoner arrested?
In this entire case, Senior Superintendent of police Dr. Kumar ashish formed a team to arrest the prisoner Nitesh Kumar who had escaped from jail. Sadar ASP Rajkishore Singh, Bhagwan Bazar SHO Subhash Kumar and Goriyakothi police station along with DIU were deployed in this. After this, the team raided together and caught the absconding prisoner within 12 hours.
How did they come to know about the absconding prisoner?
According to the information, Jail Superintendent Radheshyam suman came to know about this when the counting of the prisoners of the jail started. After this, one prisoner was found missing. It was found that there is no prisoner named Nitesh Kumar. After this, there was a stir in the jail administration. Jail Superintendent Radheshyam suman immediately informed district Magistrate Aman sameer and SSP along with Bhagwan Bazar SHO Subhash Kumar about this. Let us tell you that the absconding accused Nitesh Kumar is a resident of Goriyakothi in Siwan. He has a criminal history. Many cases are registered against him. He had escaped from jail once before. Now after his arrest, the jail administration and police have heaved a sigh of relief.
