Auto rickshaw driver rapes 10-year-old girl, arrested!
A rape incident has come to light from mumbai, Maharashtra, which will send chills down the spine. An auto rickshaw driver raped a 10-year-old girl living in his neighbourhood in Malad Malvani area of Mumbai.
A case has been registered against the rickshaw driver in this case at Malavani police station in Mumbai. The accused driver has also been arrested.
Threatened not to tell anyone
According to mumbai police, both the accused and the victim live in Malavani, Malad. The accused is an auto rickshaw driver by profession. The accused called the girl to his house for some work and did obscene acts with her. He sexually assaulted her several times. Not only this, he threatened her to keep quiet and said that if she told this to anyone, he would kill her.
The scared girl told her mother
The scared girl did not tell anyone anything initially. However, later the girl told her mother about the incident. After knowing this, the mother immediately reached Malvani police station and lodged a complaint. After the complaint, the police registered a case under various sections related to sexual harassment and relevant sections of POCSO and arrested the accused. The police produced the accused in Dindoshi court. While hearing the case, the court sent the accused to police custody till april 12.
