History is a forgotten bull... Our Turrebaz Khan was associated with the South with India's first war of independence. Turum Khan is still a living hero on the tongues of the people even though he sees the rulers covering up. leader of the Sepoy Mutiny in Hyderabad.

The Sepoy Mutiny of 1857, known as India's first war of independence, has a special chapter in the country's history. Especially against the rule of the Britishers.

The impact of the sepoy uprising in the decades-long war against them was unparalleled. However, the history of this uprising seems to be largely confined to the northern states. But, the chapter that connects this uprising with hyderabad .. is the life of Turrebaz Khan.

His family background... Turrebaz Khan's personal life... Who was he before the uprising against the british in Hyderabad? Things like that came together over time.

At least he doesn't have a picture. Born for the uprising of 1857, he seems to have sunk with that uprising. Although Turrebaz Khan was not recorded in the history of empowerment as the Nizam rulers clashed with the british as if the victors would write history.

Turrebaz Khan was said to have led the sepoy revolt in Hyderabad. Jamadar Chedda Khan, one of the hyderabad soldiers sent to delhi .. attacked the white soldiers. The Nizam became frustrated and imprisoned, hoping to gain the support of the rulers.

Two houses near the residency wall were evacuated and the wall was demolished from there to enter the residency. They were accompanied by more than five thousand Rohillas, Arabs, students, and other commoners.

Minister Turab ali Khan once again sent his whereabouts to the british on July 22. Turrebaz Khan was found with a stain near his eye and was arrested in a forest near Ashur Khana and brought to a hyderabad court.

Some historians say that this time Khurban Khan reported the whereabouts of Turrebaz Khan. He is said to have been shot dead by an army led by Talukdar mirza Kharban ali Baig.

After that, they came to hyderabad from there. His body was hung naked on a tree near the residency building. It is said that this served to intimidate anyone with the intention of not doing such an adventure.

Now a monument has been erected in the same area in memory of Turrebaj Khan. But, its significance is largely unknown to anyone except those who are knowledgeable about history.

In addition, the road from Koti Women's college to Putli Bowley X Road was named after Turrebaj Khan. But, it's rare to deal with it by that name. Therefore, it is appropriate to consider it our minimum responsibility to commemorate our local warrior.
