More use of Plastic..! What is the best solution to reduce it..!?

On the same day yesterday, 1,586 kg of banned 'plastic' was seized from the corporation and a fine of only Rs.500 to Rs 1000 was made to pay them off and continue to start again. To find a permanent solution to this problem, millions of rupees in fines would have to be imposed. In the coimbatore Corporation, tons of garbage are collected every day and most of the 'plastic' products are found to be harmful to the environment. Corporation officials also inspect shops and companies from time to time and take fines.
Large commercial establishments such as shopping malls, clothing stores, and supermarkets will be charged Rs 10,000 for the first offense, Rs 10,000 for the second offense, Rs 15,000 for the second offense, and Rs 25,000 for the third offense.
There is a provision to charge Rs.1,000 for the first time, Rs.2,000 for the second, and Rs.5,000 for the third time, for the use of banned plastics in grocery stores, pharmacies, and medium enterprises. Even though the fines are so low, these are not properly charged. Authorities also seized 1,586 kg of banned plastic from small shops, small hotels, and large corporations. Corporation officials have imposed 14 thousand and 700 rupees. Most of these are shops and bakeries. In this situation, the authorities should continue to take action in all large companies, such as clothing stores. Environmental activists say that if large sums of money are imposed without mercy in the case of fines, the irregularities will decrease.
