Rule of mask: Violators can be put on 'no fly list'???
Aviation regulatory body DGCA has tightened its stand against those who do not wear masks in airport and air travel. The DGCA has said that passengers who are not wearing masks will be considered "uncontrolled". Along with this, it has also been directed that such passengers should be removed from the flight before the departure of the aircraft. After the increase in the cases of Corona for the last few days, DGCA has given this instruction while taking precautionary steps.
Instructions after rising Covid-19 cases
These instructions have been issued in view of the increase in corona cases in recent times. Aviation regulator DGCA said on wednesday that CISF personnel will implement the rule of masks. Any passenger who refuses to comply with this can be landed before takeoff of the aircraft.
These guidelines of DGCA have come to the fore after the delhi High Court's order to take a strict stand against the passengers refusing to follow the Covid safety measures. In its order of june 3, the court had said that the corona epidemic is not over yet and if the passengers refuse to follow the protocol despite repeated reminders, then action should be taken as per the guidelines of the Ministry of health and DGCA. .
The court had said that such passengers can be physically removed, put on the 'no fly' list or handed over to the security agencies for further action. The court said that in our view this would be the right step because the epidemic has not ended and is hitting again.
