The cost of this bandage on the jacket is around Rs 500. professor Baker Mazhari, Department of Electric Engineering, IIT, said that this is a type of heater which is made from flexible plastic, it has been designed in such a way that current cannot be applied. Soon it will be tested in different weather conditions after which the technology will be transferred to private companies.

Significantly, it works in different heating modes whether it is plain or mountain or high altitude, it can prove useful in all types of terrain. professor Mazhari said, "It is especially suitable for military personnel deployed in high altitude areas and for trekkers and mountaineers."

This strap, named Warm Hug, has been designed in such a way that it can also be charged from the power bank if needed.
