Chess is the favourite game of many people. 2. Who made this game?

It is said that this game is of intellectual entertainment and was made by a Brahmin named Chaturanga in the Sixth century.

3. In which country did Chess start?

This game is basically an invention of India. Earlier it was known as Chaturanga. This game went from india to europe via Arabia and then became famous all over the world in the 15th/16th century.

4. Chess in India

Chess spread from india to the Middle east and europe around the 6th century. Here it quickly became popular. There is no solid evidence that chess existed as a modern game before the 6th century. Pieces found in Russia, China, india, Central Asia, Pakistan, and elsewhere, which are said to date back to earlier times, are believed to be similar to earlier board games that used multiple dice and sometimes 100 or more squares. 

5. How did the development happen?

It is not clear how Chaturanga developed. Some historians say that Chaturanga, which may have been opened on a board of 64 squares, gradually turned into chess, which became a two-player game in northern india, Pakistan, afghanistan and southern parts of Central Asia after 600 AD.
