Students used 3000 Sanitary Pads to make G20 Logo!!!


On the occasion of international Women's Day, students of South gujarat university made the G20 india logo using 3,000 sanitary pads which are becoming fiercely viral on social media. After creating the logo, the students also distributed sanitary pads to women at Veer Narmad South gujarat University. people are praising this feat of the students.

Sanitary pads are used during menstruation to prevent a number of serious genital illnesses. By making the G20 india logo out of sanitary pads, the students have highlighted the ignorance about menstruation among people in the country. The students have shown this feat at a time when the supreme court has sought answers from the Central and State Governments in this matter.

In fact, on november 28 last year, the supreme court heard a PIL to provide free sanitary facilities to students. The petition said that girls studying from 6th to 12th in all government schools across the country should be given free sanitary pads. Also, there should be a separate toilet facility for girls in all schools. It was said in the petition that young girls are not able to maintain hygiene. Hearing the petition, a bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS narasimha sent a notice to the central government and ordered it to submit its reply soon.
