Brands increasingly roping in south superstars!!!
In an exclusive conversation, trade expert Komal Nahata says that after the lockdown there have been changes in bollywood as well as in the South industry. The South film industry was also limited to the South earlier, but in order to capture the hindi audience, South makers have started a culture of releasing films in Hindi. Earlier it used to be released in hindi 2 or 3 months after the release of South films. Now with the new trend, the business of South films in hindi is so great that the barriers of languages and borders are over. Nahata believes that 'Junior NTR, ram Charan, bollywood stars are popular now'.
Nahata says, 'Bollywood producers have also seen an opportunity to capitalize on South's growing fan following. Earlier South films were dubbed in hindi but now bollywood producers have decided that South film lovers should be introduced to South stars in original hindi films. This is the reason why South stars are cast in South bollywood films.
The dominance of South Stars in the ad market too
Nahata believes that the impact of South Stars on the ad market also started to be seen only a few days after the release of RRR. It has been proven that South Stars have now made a distinct identity across India. hindi filmmakers as well as brands are taking advantage of this.
