How To Beat The Heat? Don't Drink Tea!!!
The BMC authorities have released some recommendations for residents in light of the temperature increase. Which are:
Tips For Avoiding Heat
Maintain your fluid intake.
Dress in cotton and light colours. While venturing outside, wear goggles, a hat or umbrella, shoes, or slippers.
When travelling, carry onions & water.
Dehydration is brought on by alcohol, tea, coffee, and carbonated soft drinks (cold drinks).
Steer clear of frozen and high-protein foods.
If you're going outside to do some work, wear a hat or an umbrella. If at all possible, when outside, cover your head and face with a cotton cloth.
Pets and small children should never be left in enclosed automobiles.
Consult a doctor right away if you feel sick or frail.
Keep ingesting home-made liquids on a regular basis to keep the body hydrated, such as lassi (yoghurt drink), rice water, lemon juice, buttermilk, coconut water, etc.
Animals should have access to plenty of shade and water.
Use fans, drapes, shutters, or sunshades to keep your house cool. Leave the windows open at night.
Take care of young and little ones, make them to take more water and liquids inorder to prevent dehydation. Avoid going out in the day time during this summer.
