NEET Dress Controversy in Kerala?....

The National Commission for women (NCW) has erupted in kerala over the incident of female students removing innerwear during NEET exam in Kerala. The chairperson of the commission has written a letter to the chairman of the National Testing Agency (NTA) in this case. Late in the evening, the NTA president has formed an inquiry committee in this matter.

On the other hand, the ongoing protests in southern kerala regarding this matter turned violent on Tuesday. Protesters vandalized a private educational institution at Ayur in kollam district where the girl was asked to remove her innerwear during a screening before the exam.


Women's Commission also wrote a letter to DGP

Along with this, the commission has also written a letter to the director General of police, kerala and ordered an inquiry. The commission has asked the DGP to register an FIR under legal provisions in case the allegations are found to be true by conducting a fair investigation within 3 days. However, the state police has already registered a case on the complaint of a 17-year-old girl student. The other girl students who made the allegation have not yet filed a police complaint.

NTA has formed a fact-finding committee

The NCW president has asked the NTA to investigate the allegations within the stipulated time and take legal action against those responsible. Late in the evening, the Union education Ministry said that the NTA has constituted a fact-finding committee to investigate the matter, which will give its report soon. This committee will go to the center of South kollam and talk to all the parties related to this case, where this incident has happened.
