Shocking: Another NEET Suicide in Tamilnadu...


The suicide of Shweta, a student who failed in the NEET examination near chennai, has caused a great shock. The central government conducts a common entrance test known as NEET for admission to medical courses. This has been continuously protested in tamil Nadu. Because it is said that the medical dream of poor students will be shattered. Reasons for this include curriculum, proper training and facilities.

The helpline number 104 has also been introduced by the state government and measures are being taken to prevent suicidal thoughts. Those who are distressed are advised to contact this number immediately. 


The NEET entrance exam was held on 17th July to enroll in MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses. The results were released yesterday. A student named Shweta from Indira nagar area of Tirumullavayal next to chennai had also written this exam. But she failed. Disheartened by this, she hanged herself at home. Seeing this, her parents immediately took her to Kilpakkam Hospital.

When they examined the student there, they said that she had already died. Her family was shocked. The mother of the student is working as a teacher in a government school.

Shweta completed her 12th in 2019 and her dream is to pursue MBBS. In this regard, it is said that she is currently studying in the 2nd year of MBBS online in the Philippines. But she had been writing NEET for two years with the ambition of becoming a doctor in India. In this environment she has taken the wrong decision.
