The Asteroid that killed dinosaurs on Earth...

China's Chang'e 5 aircraft has collected soil samples from the moon. Now, this sample is being studied. It has been revealed in this study that asteroids had fallen on the moon as well as meteorites would have fallen on Earth. Evidence has been found in the samples collected from the moon that asteroids had fallen there. It is believed that due to the fall of such meteorites, the dinosaurs present on the earth were killed and their entire species was destroyed.

On analyzing the soil of the moon, it has been found that Earth is not the only planet that has fallen victim to meteorites. Scientists at Curtin university have discovered that 200 million years old elements have been found in the soil of the Moon. Let us tell you that the soil of the moon was brought in the year 2020 with the help of the Chinese spacecraft. This soil was given to scientists around the world so that they could do research on it.

Evidence has also been found on Earth

Scientists studying this soil say that the microscopic glass beads found in this soil can be formed only when an atmosphere of high temperature and pressure is created due to the fall of the meteorite. Something similar happens on Earth when a big meteorite's body falls somewhere. Where the meteorite falls, silicate glasses are formed. Such marks or evidence are left when the lava of the volcano has melted or a meteorite has fallen.

Professor Alexander Nemchin, who wrote the research paper about this, has said, 'This study has revealed that similar evidence was also found from Chicxulub crater on Earth 66 million years ago.' Now this team wants to compare so that it can be understood that the time and structure of craters on the moon and those on Earth are similar.
