Schools closed in these cities due to cold wave!!!
The misery of cold and dense fog continues from the north of the country to western India. In view of this, the states have declared winter holidays to save the children from the chilly winter. Among these, there are many states ranging from UP, haryana, rajasthan, punjab, Himachal, madhya pradesh, and Bihar, where holidays have been extended.
Uttar Pradesh
In view of the severe cold in the state, the government has extended the school holidays from december 31, 2022, till january 14, 2023. These include almost all the districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Haryana
In view of the severe winter in haryana, there will be a winter vacation from january 1 to 15. The education Minister of haryana has issued orders for winter holidays in all government schools of the state.
Rajasthan
The winter vacation in rajasthan has been extended from 25th december to 5th january 2023. The reason for extending these holidays is the heavy cold.
Punjab
Due to the chilly winter, holidays have been declared in all the schools of punjab till january 7. Due to the 8th of Jan falling on sunday, the schools will open on the 9th of january after the weekly holiday.
Jharkhand
Due to the severe cold in jharkhand, the holiday for primary schools will remain till january 8. However, schools will remain open for teachers during this period. They have to complete other work from the syllabus.
Madhya Pradesh
There is a heavy outbreak of cold in madhya pradesh as well. Here too, the schools will remain closed till january 7. After sunday the 8th, schools will open on the 9th of January.
