In andhra pradesh, the 10th class results were released by the state education minister Botsa Satyanarayana in Vijayawada. The overall pass percentage was 72.26% across the state. In this, 69.27 %of boys and 75.38 %of girls have passed. Girls have passed 6.11 %more than boys in tenth class results. minister Botsa said that the pass rate this year is 5 %higher than last year.
It is known that the ap 10th class exams were held from april 3rd to 18th. A total of 609081 regular students applied. Out of them, 605052 students wrote the exam. Among them 309245 are boys and 295807 are girls. 933 schools have recorded a 100% pass rate in class 10th results. In the other 38 schools, not a single one was registered. ap residential schools recorded the highest pass percentage of 95.25%.
District-wise in terms of pass percentage, Parvathipuram Manyam district has secured the top position with 87.47%. nandyala district stood last with a 60.39 %pass percentage. Meanwhile, the government has decided to organize special classes for students who have failed the exams. Meanwhile, advance supplementary exams will be conducted from june 2nd to 10th for those who failed the 10th class exams.
Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the schedule for this will also be released soon. students who are going to appear for the Advance Supplementary Examinations are advised to apply and pay the examination fee before 17th May.
