Hyderabad schools and colleges are closed...?


On tuesday, all educational facilities in hyderabad and the Medchal-Malkajgiri districts will be closed due to the heavy rains that have been falling in the city and its environs. Anudeep Durishetty, the hyderabad District Collector, announced the closure of the schools and colleges on X.

The telangana weather office forecast heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning for tuesday, and the state is likely to experience heavy rain through thursday (September 7), according to the india Meteorological Department (IMD), which has issued an orange alert for Hyderabad.

Kerala - For two districts in Kerala, idukki and Pathanamthitta, the IMD also issued an orange alert on tuesday due to the likelihood of significant rainfall in these areas. Alappuzha, Kottayam, and ernakulam are the three districts where a yellow alert warning has been issued. Residents of hilly areas have been advised by the weather office to stay safe and indoors. According to the weather service, rain is expected in the state through this coming Saturday, september 9. Due to heavy rains, Pathanamthitta's Konni region's schools were ordered to close on Tuesday.
