The Union minister for education, Shri dharmendra Pradhan, today unveiled the highly anticipated india Rankings 2024, marking a significant milestone in the country's educational landscape. These rankings, implemented under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), have been meticulously drafted by the Ministry of education, a process that began in 2015. The event saw the presence of key figures in the education sector, underscoring the importance of this initiative.

The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Secretary of Higher education, Shri K. Sanjay Murthy; UGC Chairman, Prof. M Jagadesh Kumar; AICTE Chairman, Prof. T.G. Sitharam; Chairman of the National Educational technology Forum (NETF), Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe; and Member Secretary of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Dr. Anil Kumar Nassa. Their presence highlighted the collaborative effort behind these rankings, which are designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of educational institutions across the country.

Also in attendance were Shri sunil Kumar Barnwal, Additional Secretary of the Department of Higher education, and Joint Secretary Shri Govind Jaiswal, along with several academicians and heads of institutions.
