Applications for admission to EWS category seats!!!

There is good news for parents who want admission of their children in classes 2 to 9 in private schools of Delhi. The process of online application for admission to free seats in reserved backward class i.e. EWS category from class 2 to 9 for the new session in private schools built on land allotted by the government and DDA has started from today (3 September).

students of this category will have to apply for admission by opening the EWS link on the website www.edudel.nic.in. Only one application will be valid from the mobile number used for application, along with this, aadhar card of the parents of the students will be mandatory for application. The last date for online application is till 13 September. After this, the first computerized draw will be taken out on 20 September. The students selected in the draw will have to report to the school by 4 October.

Admission can be cancelled if there is a difference in the residential address

If any mistake is made in filling the application form, then the parents will be given a chance to correct it. Residential address is the main criterion for admission for the computerized draw. In such a situation, during admission, if someone's address is different from the address filled in the application form, then his admission can be cancelled by the school. During admission, parents can contact the helpline number 9818154069 to resolve complaints and questions related to the process.

Parents' annual income should be less than one lakh

For admission on EWS seat, the parents' income should be less than one lakh rupees per annum and it is mandatory for them to be a permanent resident of Delhi. Residential certificate and income certificate issued by the Revenue Department will be valid for this confirmation. Also, BPL and AAY card holders will also be able to apply for admission.
