Why is maharashtra giving the executive college curriculum a CBSE contact?
The maharashtra government has decided that all schools affiliated to the kingdom's board will adopt a curriculum at the traces of the Critical Board of school education (CBSE).
The plan can be rolled out from the brand new instructional year, beginning with class 1 and step by step covering all grades through 2027-28.
Maharashtra has 108,237 country government and aided colleges, with over 21.3 million students. There are also 1,572 CBSE-affiliated colleges.
Officials said the move was intended to ensure that scholars under the maharashtra Country Board of Secondary and Better Secondary Schooling can examine an upgraded curriculum that prepares them for aggressive tests.
Dadaji Bhuse, minister of school training, said the state board colleges will undertake the CBSE's academic pattern. As a result, the maharashtra country Bureau of Textbook production and Curriculum research will align textbooks to the pattern of the nationwide Council of educational research and schooling (NCERT). "This can manifest in phases as the textbooks need to be modified, and instructors trained for that reason," said Bhuse.
A senior education branch respectable said the plan was to expand at the least one college in each cluster as a model 'CM Shri faculty'. The initiative is modelled on the strains of the Union government's 'PM Shri school'.
Depending on its length, every taluka will have seven to ten cm Shri colleges. The shift to the CBSE sample will advantage college students within the 87,000-strange zilla parishad and aided schools.
