Police Recruitment: What is the number of reserved? 

Now 19 thousand 838 constables are going to be reinstated in the police department of the state. 50 percent posts reserved for home guards

Out of 19 thousand 838 posts of constable, 6 thousand 717 posts have been specially reserved for women candidates. In this constable recruitment, 50 percent posts are reserved for the home guards of Bihar. There are 7 thousand 935 posts for non-reserved category candidates and 1983 posts reserved for economically weaker sections. Apart from this, there are 3174 posts for scheduled caste (SC) category, 199 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 3571 for Extremely Backward Class (EBC), 2381 for Backward Class (BC) (including 53 transgenders) and 595 posts for backward class women (BCW) category candidates. On the other hand, there are 397 posts under the horizontal reservation system for the dependent of freedom fighter. How to apply for constable recruitment? (Bihar police Sipahi Bharti application 2025) The online application process for this recruitment will start from 18 march 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Central Selection Board (Sipahi Recruitment) csbc.bihar.gov.in. The last date for application has been fixed as 18 april 2025.
