The 45th chennai Book Fair kicks off on january 6th, 2022!!! 

BAPASI said the book fair will be held in 800 halls, similar to last year, and will feature a special vaccination camp at the book fair. The South indian Booksellers and Publishers Association (BAPASI) has announced that the 45th chennai Book Fair will be held from january 6th to 23rd at the YMCA Ground in Nandanam, Chennai. 

Vairavan, President of South indian Booksellers and Publishers Association, and Murugan (Secretary) informed reporters that the 45th chennai Book Fair will be held from january 6th to 23rd. The exhibition is going to be inaugurated by the chief minister of tamil Nadu MK Stalin. The minister of school Education will also attend the inaugural function. The book fair will be held in 800 halls like last year, school and college students will be admitted free of cost. The entrance fee for the public is 10 rupees. He said the exhibition will be held on weekdays from 3 pm to 8.30 pm and on holidays from 11 am to 8.30 pm. He said that steps were being taken to reduce the rent especially for the halls, all the visitors would be provided with masks. Vairavan also said that steps would be taken to reduce the food prices and it will also be under control.
