Last day of rakshabandhan Mahotsav in Bhopal!!!
Like every year, this year also the biggest rakshabandhan Mahotsav is being organized in the capital Bhopal. On the fifth day of the six-day rakshabandhan Mahotsav, minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang got Raksha Sutra tied by 41 thousand 526 sisters. Today is the last day of rakshabandhan Mahotsav. On wednesday (28 August), while tying Raksha Sutra, a sister asked minister Sarang for a gift in the form of treatment for her daughter.
Cooperatives, sports and youth Welfare minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang arrived on wednesday to get Raksha Sutra tied by sisters in the Narela rakshabandhan Mahotsav organized in Wards 44, 39, 40 and 75 under Narela Assembly. On the fifth day of the Mahotsav, 41 thousand 526 sisters tied Rakhi to minister Sarang. It is noteworthy that this year, in just 5 days, 1 lakh 54 thousand 548 sisters tied Raksha Sutra to minister Sarang.
Getting blessings and affection every year for the last 15 years
In the program, sisters from Narela assembly as well as from the surrounding areas had come to tie rakhi to minister Sarang. minister Sarang said during the conversation with the sisters that for the last 15 years, every year he is getting blessings and affection from lakhs of sisters of Narela assembly. This holy program started in 2008 is continuing uninterrupted. He said that the feeling of affection and belongingness of the sisters has made Narela a family by binding it together.
Last year's record broken
minister Sarang said that this time last year's record has been broken on the fifth day itself. It is noteworthy that for the last 15 years, sisters reach the world's largest rakshabandhan festival every year to tie Raksha-Sutra to minister Sarang. More than 1 lakh 42 thousand sisters participated in the event held last year. minister Sarang planted a sapling under the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam', called by prime minister Narendra Modi. He appealed to everyone to plant saplings and protect them.
