New type Omicron Sub-Variant XE in Mumbai..?

A new type of virus called Omigron XE has been detected in mumbai, according to the mumbai Corporation. Omicron XE virus was first detected in the UK and is currently being detected in Mumbai. This type of omicron virus has been shown to spread 10 times faster. The Brihan mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) test revealed that one patient was infected with the 'XE' type and one was infected with 'corona' type 'Kaba'.
The patient was a 50 - year - old woman from south africa who had been vaccinated twice on february 10. According to the mumbai Municipal Corporation, the woman had undergone a corona examination after arriving in india from South Africa. Although the XE type spreads 10% faster than the BA.2 subtype of Omicron, so far the victim has had no severe symptoms.Of the total 230 patients tested, 21 were admitted to the hospital, with no reported need for oxygen or intensive care. Of the 21 people admitted to the hospital, 12 were unvaccinated and nine were vaccinated twice, according to the mumbai Municipal Corporation. The symptoms seem to be so mild and nothing to worry till now.
