First Intranasal Vaccine: What is the speciality?


India's First Nasal Vaccine- Now india has the first nasal vaccine to fight Coronavirus. DGCI has given its approval. Bharat Biotech has made this vaccine. Union health and Family Welfare minister Mansukh Mandaviya have named it 'Big Boost' for India's fight against Covid-19. The name of this vaccine is ChAd36-SARS-CoV-S COVID-19 Nasal Vaccine.

This is India's first Nasal Vaccine, whose trial was completed on august 15, after which it has now got its final approval. Bharat Biotech reported that the vaccine dose given to healthy volunteers in the first phase of clinical trials worked well, with no problems. After which it was approved. The booster dose of Intra Nasal Vaccine was tested at 9 locations.

What is its speciality?

This vaccine is given through the nose, which will build up the immune system inside the nose and inactivate the virus as soon as it enters.

Unlike the vaccines being given so far, it will not require a needle.

It is also easy to use, it can be used even at home, it does not even require trained health care workers.

Ideally suitable for children and adults.

The most important thing is that it has the ability to kill the virus before it enters the body, so there will be no risk of problems to the body parts.
