Negligence of doctors-towel left in stomach during operation…

A major case of negligence of doctors has come to light in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Where in a private hospital, a towel was left in the stomach of a woman during delivery. This came to light when the woman's health deteriorated. After which she was operated in another hospital. After the case came to light, there was a stir in the health department. The CMO has formed a team to investigate this matter. The matter is being investigated.

This case is of Mahua Kheda police station area of Aligarh, where the wife of Vikas Kumar, a resident, was brought to Shiv mahima Hospital located on GT Road four months ago for delivery. The woman gave birth to twin girls. But, the doctors left the towel in the woman's stomach during the operation.

The towel was removed after another operation
After the delivery, the woman was brought home, after which she complained of stomach ache. On this, the doctors returned her by advising her to take medicine. But, when her health started deteriorating, the family took her to another hospital where it was found that the woman had a towel in her stomach. After which she was operated again and the towel was removed.

After this incident, the family created a ruckus. The woman's husband has accused Shiv Mahila Hospital of negligence. He says that when he told the doctors about the woman's health deteriorating, they gave him medicine and sent him back saying that it will cure him. Due to this negligence of the doctors, his wife's life was in danger. After the matter came to light, the health department also came into action and orders have been given to investigate it. The CMO said that we have received complaints of negligence during the operation. Along with this, there has also been a talk of taking some money. A team has been formed to investigate the matter. Action will be taken against the accused.
