My meals revolve around chicken breast in a slow cooker or baked. Steamed broccoli, sweet potato and swede mash. Or whatever root veg you like. Pumpkin is another one I love. Potatoes are great, but I don't go for them so much as I whack on the weight with the starch, but boy do I love ‘em. Then there are mushrooms, green beans, onions, garlic, leeks, carrots etc.
I have fresh lemon in warm water in the morning. Rolled oats soaked in water over night. Eggs, pure natural peanut butter. I only use pure butter on toast if I want it. No vegetable oils ever. Pure olive oil. Maybe coconut oil. Never heat the oils past their burn point. Greek yogurt, blueberries on the oats. Bananas for a snack. Kanzi apples too. Yep, I’m super fussy. Not all apples are tasty…. yes I’m off topic, but it gives you an idea about how much moisture there can be in your diet. My green smoothie is as follows: Fresh pineapple just because I love it, and its packed with goodness, and it’s sweet too. spinach and or kale, cucumber, fresh ginger, and from there I can play around with it. Sometimes I’ll add capsicum or whatever takes my fancy. I usually have this after exercise as I can feel it hydrate me immediately. Another benefit of this is it keeps you regular.
