One more person dies of GBS in maharashtra, 16 new cases reported!
Suspected Guillain-Barre syndrome is spreading in Maharashtra. One more person has lost his life due to this GBS disease. After which the death toll from this suspected disease has increased to two. Also, 16 new cases of GBS have been reported here on wednesday (29 January).
According to the maharashtra Health Department, till today (29 January) from GBS (Guillain-Barre Syndrome), 127 suspected cases of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) have been identified, including 2 suspected deaths. Of these, GBS has been confirmed in 72 patients. 23 patients are from pune Municipal Corporation, 73 are from newly added villages in PMC area, 13 are from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, 9 are from pune Rural and 9 are from other districts. 20 of the affected persons are currently on ventilator support.

The maharashtra government on tuesday appealed to the people not to panic if they see symptoms of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), immediately consult a doctor so that timely treatment can be done. Do not be negligent in treatment if such symptoms are seen. At the same time, the government has also advised to follow preventive measures if symptoms of this disease are seen. According to the information, GBS patients have been seen at many places on tuesday as well. Of these, seven patients are from pune Municipal Corporation, one patient is from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and one patient is from another district.

So far a total of 127 suspected GBS patients have been found, out of which 2 have died. In view of which many types of concerns are emerging among the people, but the government is constantly appealing to the people that they do not need to panic at all.
