PM Modi's visit to pakistan postponed?...

Amidst the deteriorating financial condition of pakistan, now its own Shehbaz Sharif's government is being questioned. Shahbaz Sharif himself is sometimes seeking help from india and sometimes he is chanting Kashmir. Now a Pakistani journalist has claimed that indian prime minister narendra modi was about to visit pakistan but due to some reasons the visit was cancelled. Pakistani journalist Kamran Yusuf has advised the government of pakistan in his article that if you want to save your home, first forget the issue of Kashmir.

Recently, Kamran Yusuf had met former Chief General of the Pakistani Army, Qamar Javed Bajwa. Kamran's article that came after this meeting has created a sensation. Kamran has written that narendra modi was going to visit pakistan in april 2021 to make a new beginning towards improving the relations between the two countries. The visit was postponed because the then prime minister imran khan was warned that if Modi came to pakistan, people in pakistan would come out on the streets.

Why was PM Modi's visit to pakistan postponed?

Kamran Yusuf has written, "In pakistan, ISI DG Lt Gen Faiz Hameed and India's NSA Ajit Doval were talking through back channel. imran khan was warned that if Modi visits, people in pakistan will come out on the streets and will have to face the consequences."

The plan was that by keeping this proposal in front of imran khan and narendra modi, the kashmir dispute should be stopped for 20 years. However, Pakistani Foreign minister Shah mehmood Qureshi told imran khan that any such move would be seen as selling out Kashmir. imran khan also did not think it right to take the risk and Modi's visit to pakistan was postponed.

In his article, Kamran Yusuf has advised the government of pakistan that if it has to come out of the current economic crisis, then it will have to forget the issue of Kashmir. He has also written that it is because of Pakistan's stupidity that its position on the kashmir issue has deteriorated.
