Increasing garbage in space can become a danger to the earth!
There is a continuous increase in space garbage outside the earth. Experts have warned that there is a danger to life on earth due to increasing space garbage. Space physics expert Dr. Ian Whittaker of Nottingham Trent university has warned that the space garbage revolving around outside the earth can pose a big threat to the earth. This garbage is moving in space at a very fast speed, due to which it can become fatal for humans.
An example of this was recently seen in Mukuku village of Kenya. The space ring of the Ariane rocket launch of the year 2008 has fallen on the ground in Mukuku village of Kenya. This incident in kenya has again drawn everyone's attention towards the danger to the earth due to increasing garbage in space.
'Fast falling objects cause more damage' - Dr. Whittaker
According to the Express report, Dr. Whittaker said, "As the space junk is increasing, the danger to the Earth is also increasing." He said, "It is true that the possibility of someone colliding with the falling space junk is very low at the moment, but this possibility will increase in the coming years. There is a high risk of loss of life and property in this. Because when something falls down at a high speed, the damage caused by it is also greater. That is why we have to pay attention to this."
'Can destroy even a large building'
Dr. Whittaker further said, "The space junk spread in the Earth's orbit rotates at a speed of 8 km per second (18000 mph), but its speed slows down when it enters the atmosphere. However, it will still continue to move at a speed of about 100 meters per second (200+ mph). If something like the Ariane separation ring falls in a densely populated urban area, it can easily destroy a large building. There is also a risk of human life loss in this. " Whittaker said, "The number of rocket and satellite launches from the earth has increased a lot. This has also increased space garbage."
