Excellent performance of some states
Some states have made rapid progress in strengthening panchayats. According to the report, Uttar Pradesh has done wonders. Earlier it was at number 15, but now it has come to number 5. It has made major changes in its way of working, which has strengthened the panchayats further. New methods have been adopted to reduce corruption and make panchayats honest.Tripura is also not behind now. Earlier it was at number 13, but now it has come to number 7. Tripura has learned ways to manage the money of panchayats well and earn more. This shows that even small states can strengthen panchayats.
