5 minor girls missing from an orphanage, created stir!

5 minors escaped from the bathroom window of an orphanage located on Veera Desai Road in Andheri area of Mumbai. Sources said that all these 5 girls escaped on the pretext of going to the bathroom at midnight. An officer said that the age of all the girls who have escaped is between 15 to 17 years. In this case, Amboli police of mumbai has registered an FIR of kidnapping against an unknown person.

A woman working in the orphanage told the police that around 2.30 in the night, the watchman of our hostel told that all the five girls went to the washroom one after the other, but when they did not return for a long time, I went and called out.

The glass of the washroom window was removed

Even after calling out, no one responded. After which the watchman, instead of going inside, first went to the other side of the washroom and saw, then it was found that the glass of the washroom window was removed. After which I informed people about this.

Information given to Amboli police

police said that the five minor girls went out through the washroom window. The workers there went out and searched everywhere but they did not find the girls in the hostel premises.

After this incident, the workers of the orphanage decided to seek police help and then the nearest police station i.e. Amboli police was informed about it. Amboli police station registered a case against an unknown person under section 137(2) of BNS and started further investigation.
