As winter chills whelmed Delhi in joyful haze, the 13th edition of Krackerjack Karnival, India’s biggest event dedicated to kids and families, transformed Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium into a fairy and toon land on 16th and 17th of December 2017. The cartoon characters like Chhota Bheem and others were available to meet and greet little fans. The fair had game shows, performances, workshops, rides, food and merchandise for children as well as their parents. With the venue decked out in colourful balloons, a giant Christmas tree, decorative lights and Santa Claus, it seemed that Christmas had an early start in Delhi.
Keeping true to its spirit of ‘Shop. Play. Learn,’ the Karnival brought an exciting line-up of entertainment, workshops and shopping. More than 35,000 visitors were spoilt for choice as they witnessed an assortment of product ranging from baby care, apparel, furniture, educational products, toys and games, organic products, party supplies, photography, stationary, sporting goods, maternity, and much more, displayed by over 100 exhibitors. The anti-pollution campaign called for urgent action on dirty air, whilst the wild life awareness drive connected children with nature.
Another interesting session was the live astronomy experience for kids at the Planetarium- an intense experience of the space beyond our sky. With the admission season knocking at the door, it was a great chance for visiting parents to clear all their queries regarding the admission process from experts present on the spot. Hyundai was present with some road safety tips and other partners include Pulse, Nickelodeon, Disney, etc.
Organized by Exhibitions India Pvt. Ltd., the festival was launched in 2012, and since then it has travelled across Delhi, Gurgaon and Bengaluru hosting multiple editions. The 13th edition of Krackerjack Karnival lived up to its promise of being a world full of discovery, excitement and learning for children and fun activities for the complete family to enjoy together.
