The houses of the poor are made for one or two lakh rupees, ready officers get the rooms built for 20-20 lakh rupees.

Officers do not like the old rooms, new rooms are built as soon as they are posted. Spend a lot of money through corporations, companies, and commissions.

Bhopal. To build houses for the poor, the government gives them only one to one and a half lakh rupees. Whereas IAS officers spend more than Rs 20 lakh each in getting a room for themselves in the office.
There are already rooms for them in the office, but many officers do not like the rooms already built. These officers either break it down and get it built new or give it to the subordinates to make it a separate room for themselves.

Along with this, other items including chair-table, tv are also bought afresh for them.

IAS officers do not have this freedom in the departments, because of this they spend lakhs of rupees in making their chambers through the corporations, boards, and companies of the government. Because in these institutions only the officers have full authority.

Apart from this, they do not even have to answer for the difficulties of the Finance Department. They start getting the work done by passing a proposal to the board of directors in the name of renovation, repair of a building, construction of partition, and additional room.
In the corporation boards, they have no hesitation in keeping the expenses in other works including the construction of the car, additional room, and keeping the employees from outsourcing.

Case one- IAS officer abhishek Singh was posted as Chief Advisor in mp State Planning Commission. He built a separate room for himself.

Along with the Planning Commission, he is also in charge of the commissioner of the Economic and Statistical Department. Its office is just below the Planning Commission.

There is also a room allotted for them. Apart from this, there is also a provision of an additional room for them in the Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis.

Case two- An additional room was made for Sanjay Dubey, Principal Secretary in Energy Development Corporation. A room was made for them in about 1000 to 12 hundred square feet.

The amount for the construction of the room has been made through Rewa Ultra Solar Mega Project Company. While a room had already been made for the principal secretary and the commissioner, he did not like this room.

It is said that more than 30 lakh rupees have been spent on the construction of rooms for them. He changed the design of Urja Vikas Nigam in the course of his room.

Case three - IAS officer and ED in Mineral Corporation are being made for Varadamurthy Mishra and Chairman. Whereas in the Corporation earlier also a room was made for the Chairman, which is presently also.

There is also a room for ED, but they do not like this room. Now a fresh room is being built for the ED and the chairman. More than Rs 20 lakh is being spent on the construction of these two chambers.
