Parking has become a big problem with the increasing number of vehicles. This can be gauged from the fact that the Union minister said that soon a law will be made regarding wrong parking. Union minister for Road Transport and Highways nitin gadkari on thursday said that soon a person sending a picture of a wrongly parked vehicle may get a reward. Gadkari said if the fine amounted to Rs 1,000, the sender of the photograph could get Rs 500.

Union minister Gadkari is known for his clear views. Addressing an event in New Delhi, Gadkari said he is considering a law to stop the practice of vehicles parked wrongly on the roads. He said that due to wrong parking, the roads often get jammed. Union minister Gadkari said, "I am going to bring a law that if the person who will park the car on the road, who will send the photo of his mobile, he will be fined Rs 1000, then the person who removes the photo will get Rs 500. So the problem of parking. will be resolved."

The minister expressed regret that people do not create parking space for their vehicles, rather their vehicles occupy the road. In a lighter vein, he said, "My cook in nagpur also has two second-hand vehicles... Now, a family of four has six vehicles. It seems Delhiites are lucky because we have got their vehicles parked. No one builds a parking space, most of them park their vehicles on the roads."
