Creative punishment for traffic violations!?
The punjab government has issued the latest order on Tropic Violations. It is known that about 10 lakh people die every year due to road accidents in the country. The number of road accidents is increasing day by day.
Central and State Governments are implementing several regulatory programs to reduce the number of accidents. As a part of this, the latest regulations issued by the punjab government have become a topic of discussion.
The thing is that in punjab, if someone is caught driving under the influence of alcohol or speeding, they have to do social service or donate blood. Those caught will also be fined doing either of the above two activities. Anyone caught driving over the speed limit will be fined Rs 1,000 for the first time and Rs 2,000 for the second time.
5,000 for the first time if caught with alcohol or drugs during the same period, Rs. 10 thousand fine should be paid. All traffic violators must complete the course prescribed by the Transport Department. Then they have to give lessons to the school children near them for at least 2 hours. 2 hours of social service or one unit of blood donation in a hospital as work.
It has to be seen to what extent the new regulations brought by the government will be implemented. The point to be noted here is that drug use is on the rise in Punjab. punjab has the largest share of drug business and consumption in the country as a whole.
It has already come to light that drugs are being heavily imported into punjab from neighboring Pakistan. To prevent this, the government has brought new regulations.
