The gap between mumbai and Navi mumbai has been reduced!!!

Trains will travel 100 kilometers per hour - Atal Setu is around 22 km long overall. This sea bridge is 27 meters wide and has three lanes on each side, or six lanes total. Two emergency exit lanes are available. A 17 km, six-lane expressway that spans the sea and around 5 km on land has been constructed. The nation's longest sea bridge was constructed at a total cost of more than Rs 17,840 crore. It is permitted to go at a top speed of 100 km/h. On the other hand, tractors, bikes, auto rickshaws, and large vehicles are not permitted on the sea bridge. Travel options are limited to cars, taxis, light trucks, minibuses, and two-axle buses.

Going from one place to another got easier.

Atal Setu originates in South Mumbai's Sewri and finishes at the Raigad district's Chirle hamlet, which is close to Nhava Sheva. Since this portion of the bridge crosses the Flamingo Protected Area, an 8.5 km long noise barrier has been constructed from Sewri. Noise pollution won't result from this. The primary purpose of this bridge is to link to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. As a result, there will be less distance between the state's two largest cities. Until recently, the trip from mumbai to pune took three hours. This trip will now take 1.3 hours to finish. In the same way, travelling from mumbai to goa and South india will be simple. The current 11-hour trip from mumbai to goa will now just take nine hours. Aside from that, Atal Setu connects mumbai International airport to Navi mumbai Airport. jawaharlal nehru Port and mumbai Port will see decreased traffic. At Sewri, Shivajinagar, there is an interchange facility between State Highway-54 and National Highway-348.
