YouTube working to delete offensive videos involving moms&kids...


On january 15, a YouTube representative was physically required by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights to be present along with a list of channels that were hosting this kind of content. On monday, YouTube requested an extension from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) in order to comply with the directives of the highest child rights agency regarding the removal of videos featuring mothers and sons engaging in indecent behaviours. According to the child rights organization, there is a concerning trend on YouTube channels featuring moms and sons in potentially obscene behaviours.

A YouTube representative was called by the NCPCR on january 10 and was required to physically appear before it on january 15 along with a list of channels that were hosting such content on the platform. The commission released a statement claiming to have noticed a concerning trend of "Child sexual abuse material" on YouTube, where challenges portrayed possible sexual abuse incidents involving women and little children.

"These recordings have viewers including kids, which additionally presents significant concerns," stated the NCPCR. According to the NCPCR, YouTube representatives appeared before the commission on monday in response. They added that after much discussion, YouTube was given until january 29 to follow the instructions.
