Transgender women who tied a thali yesterday at the world-famous Koowagam Koothandavar temple festival today expressed their sadness by cutting the thali. The world-famous Koovagam Kootandavar temple painting festival started on 9th with Sagai Varthal. Subsequently, on the 21st of this month, a beauty pageant was held for the year Koovagam festival 2024 on behalf of chennai transgender heroes and charity. Similarly, on the 22nd Miss Koowagam Alagipatti was held on behalf of the South indian Transgender Federation and tamil Nadu aids Control Society.And on the main event of the festival yesterday at 4 pm, the transgenders tied the thali to the temple priests thinking of Koowagam Koothandavar Aravan Swamy as their husband. They exchanged greetings and danced to express their joy at seeing their long-time friends. Also today morning at 6.30 a.m. Aravan sacrifice event was held. Then the temple priests cut the thali tied to the transgenders. The Koothandavar temple pilgrimage was held in the presence of tens of thousands of people. After the final phase of the 30-day festival, transgenders return to their hometowns.
