So, it looks like andhra pradesh is rolling out a new housing scheme that sounds like it’s straight out of a reality show! Picture this: You’re getting ready to build your dream house, and suddenly, the government decides to give you a grand prize of Rs. 4 lakhs!

Here’s how it’s playing out: The central government chips in Rs. 2.50 lakhs, the state government adds Rs. 1.50 lakhs, and voila – you’ve got a nice little cash boost to help with construction. It’s like they’re saying, “Congratulations! We’re giving you a financial high-five to make that new house of yours a reality!”

And guess what? This is all part of the PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 scheme, which plans to build 3 crore houses nationwide. That’s a whole lot of houses – enough to house a small country!

Now, the tdp government is playing a bit of a blame game, saying that under the YCP, they handed out 30 lakh house plots, but only 20 lakh actually got their plots. They’re saying that while 18.64 lakh houses were started, 6.50 lakh are actually finished, and 4 lakh are still waiting for a solid foundation. So it’s like they’re saying, “Look, we gave out a lot of plots, but some people might still be living in tent city!”

All in all, it’s a bit of a dramatic show with a generous plot twist – and hopefully, it means more homes for everyone soon!
